All golfers should have a routine and that they stick to when playing golf. A routine can help in many ways. It has a calming effect on thr golfer. A routine is something you do over and over the samw way. Once I get aimed up properly I start a count down. I look to the target and count 1- one thousand, look at the target again and 2- one thousand. Take my back swing 3- one thousand then hit the golf ball on 4- one thousand. Try a similar count down and concentrate on the process, rather than 180 yard carry over water your about to hit.
